Erin-Joy and James

Erin-Joy and James were married at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA on September 9, 2011. Many many thanks to Cindy at Orange Turtle Photography for her gorgeous pictures and for generously allowing us to use them here.

The bride’s theme was modern, simple, unique and elegant. White Lisianthus and Cyclamen with silver accents were requested for the bridal bouquet. The bridesmaids carried romantic ruffled white blooms that looked like they were picked from the fields.

The groom and groomsmen wore Cyclamen, Lisianthus, and polka dotted chicken feather boutonnieres wrapped in black ribbon.

Instead of the traditional table top arrangements Erin-Joy requested table vignettes made up of shiny, glittering, eclectic but modern elements, with minimal use of flowers.

The collection of crystal, ceramic, silver, and mercury glass looked brilliant in the fading sunlight.

Handfuls of votives added a magical quality to the head table when night fell.

Despite the blistering heat, and a brief rain, the bride and groom looked beautiful and blissful as they left for their honeymoon.
