Marlene and Robert’s Wedding!

Marlene and Robert were married in Pleasanton in May, 2012, at the gorgeous Palm Event Center. We are so fortunate to have had the day, (and our floral designs), captured in the stunning images provided by Duy Ho Photography.

The bride was amazingly easy-going and asked only that we design tabletop arrangements that would compliment the candlelight reception, and create a bridal bouquet that included feathers and a vintage crystal stem wrap.  We used loads of dark pink garden roses, purple hydrangea, plum-colored Scabiosa, Pieris, crystals, and Ostrich feathers to create an elegant but whimsical look for the bride and her 5 attendants.

We were given free reign to decorate the wedding cake, ceremony site, and reception, and employed loads of fresh flowers to give the day a feeling of luxurious abundance.

The groom and groomsmen had simple, silk wrapped, Lisianthus and Grape Hyacinth boutonnieres, while the mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom wore richly scented garden rose corsages.

The bridesmaids were given special vases to hold their bouquets at the table, and hundreds of candles provided a magical glow for the evening dinner and reception.

The bride used her bouquet as the centerpiece at the Sweetheart table, which was augmented with flowering boughs of tiny white flowers.

It was a magical day for two amazing people we are so lucky to have had the chance to meet. To see more of Duy Ho’s beautiful photos of this day, please visit the Duy Ho Photography Blog.

All the best,

Melisa
